Mon., Sept. 1: In observance of Labor Day, the College for Financial Planning will be closed. Online testing will be available; however, online testing support will not be available.
The College provides computerized online testing, which permits you to conveniently test when you feel prepared. The College's examinations are administered at participating Prometric Testing Centers or through individual proctors.
If you do not pass a course exam If you are unsuccessful on the first exam, you may retest once at no additional charge (other than any applicable testing center fees). For each subsequent retest, an exam rescheduling fee of $100 must be paid directly to the College. To allow time for additional studying, you must wait 24 hours from receipt of payment before retaking the exam.
Special Testing Sessions Alternate testing arrangements may be made if you have medical reasons requiring special provisions. A written request for such arrangements should accompany your application for enrollment, or you may send an e-mail to cffpssc@apollogrp.edu.

This option allows you to find a disinterested third party—someone with whom you have no business or family relationship—to register as your proctor. Business relationship is further defined as working within the same company regardless of physical location, title or position. Your proctor is responsible for ensuring that you meet the requirements for legitimate completion of the exam. The examination must be administered on a computer with an Internet connection. You may not use your study materials or any other type of outside assistance during the end-of-course examination. If you select an individual proctor, you are responsible for any costs associated with the use of a computer and the Internet. The exam may be taken at any location upon which you and your proctor agree.

Because State Insurance Continuing Education Credit is regulated by individual States' agencies, required forms and processes can be very different and somewhat more complex than for CFP Board CE credit. If you plan to apply for State Insurance CE, it is critical that you visit our State Insurance CE pages for information and requirements specific to your State.
When you take courses through the Continuing Education area of the site, your tests are given as a regular part of the course. The requirements listed in the “Online Testing for College Programs” section above will not apply for these tests.
If you experience problems, or have questions about testing for your continuing education courses, call the Student Services Center at 800-237-9990, option 2.
