David Mannaioni, CFP®, MPASSM is the Dean of Financial Planning and a professor at the College for Financial Planning. In the Dean role he oversees the faculty team responsible for the CFP® education courses, professional designations, and Master’s degree courses the College offers.

Professor Mannaioni joined the College in 2014 developing the LUTCF® curriculum. Upon completion of his Master’s degree in 2016, he directed or contributed to the revision of several designation courses, CFP® education courses, and Master’s courses. He has taught several courses including the Financial Planning Process and Insurance course in the CFP® education program and CFP Board’s Code of Ethics continuing education course. His 2019 paper, Financial designations: Can They Be Gateways to Financial Planning Education?, was accepted for presentation at the 2019 annual meeting of the Academy of Financial Services.

Utilizing his 30+ years of experience in the financial services industry, David also maintains a financial planning practice where he works with his clients in all areas of financial planning. In addition to his certifications, David holds life and health insurance licenses in several states, as well as the Series 6, Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 registrations with FINRA.
